    This class will challenge students to explore styles of drawing and painting in several media. Three dimensional work is part of the curriculum. Art history and the vocabulary of art is incorporated into the lessons. . This is a credited high school art class and follows the NJ Core Curriculum Standards.

    Appropriate for ages: grades 9-12

    Tuition: $450 (Late start will be pro-rated; Installment plan offered)

    Intermediate Ongoing Class– Explores more complex isolations, combinations and sequences. Ability to maintain proper posture during execution.

    Tuesday 7:00 - 8:30 pm 6 weeks $108

    Beginners—The main objective in a beginner’s class is learning to isolate movement to only one part of the body while practicing various foot patterns.

    Tuesday 6:00 – 7:00 pm 6 Weeks $72

    This American version of the dance is different from the styles presently depicted in the media. While all the moves originate from the core, its dance vocabulary includes every major muscle group, has a greater variety of steps, and is more aerobic. It poses few limitations regarding age or ability, increases stamina, flexibility of the spine and joints and enhances posture. It engages the mind creating a meditative experience. Practicing the dance promotes poise, self-confidence, and a positive body image.

Zentangle Group

Zentangle is a drawing method that was originated by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. Various tangles, strings, and shading techniques will be explored and applied to Zentangle inspired projects.
